Pinky Bling has a way of stopping people in their tracks.  Whether she’s walking down the street or electrifying a stage, you just know you should know who she is.  And you’re right.  Born Kimberly Stacy-Ann Morrison in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Pinky Bling’s birth on Jamaica’s Emancipation Day was pure providence.  Everything about the rapper, reggae singer and dancehall artist’s career is about emancipating and empowering others, especially women.  Pinky Bling does this not through the oft-seen cautionary tales of mistakes and woe, but by demonstrating through her own life and music how to forge successes, how to use existing strengths to create new strengths, and how to make empowering choices.

Influenced by the wide variety of music she enjoys, the versatile Pinky Bling counts Beenie Man and Bounty Killer among her earliest influences.  She later found additional inspiration in the careers of Lil Wayne and Lil Kim.  But it’s her earliest memories jumping in on neighborhood freestyles at 6 years old that exemplify the depth of Pinky Bling’s talent and drive.  From those days of flowing over the older boys’ fence-beaten rhythms to working under the guidance of her mentor and musical father, Richie Stephens, Pinky Bling’s natural performance-star gifts were never hidden.

Pinky Bling’s early experiences with the international music industry in the U.S. showed her that she had a lot to learn, and she was determined not to learn the hard way.  Stepping away from music performance for a bit, Pinky Bling self-educated herself on the business of music and enrolled at Sheffield Institute for Recording Arts to study audio engineering.  She soon added Pink Touch Records, her own record label, to her portfolio of businesses, which include Kimberly Pink Cosmetics and Pink Touch Fashion & Beauty.  In 2018, Pinky Bling was back on the mic in the sexy “Oh Yeh” with Noah Powa.  Her electrifying presence back on stage, this is exactly where she’s staying, giving her fans what they love and expect—energy, talent and power—a positive forcefield of music, fashion and beauty.

When you see her walking down the street or dominating on stage, you know who she is:  She’s Pinky Bling from Jamaica.
